ITV is the UK’s largest commercial TV station, offering advertisers unparalleled volumes of audiences from all key demographics. Just to give you a taste, in 2012 ITV played 80 of the top 100 commercial programmes for 16-34s and 96 of the top 100 commercial programmes for ABC1 adults.
We like to believe we are at the heart of popular culture and are the only commercial channel to regularly attract big, big audiences (up to 11 million viewers!). In the first half of 2012, the top 171 commercial programmes were on ITV. During this period, 495 of our programmes attracted over 3 million viewers, compared with 40 on Channel 4 and just 10 on Channel 5.
