CiTV

CiTV is on from 6am to 6pm every day, all year round, showing a huge selection of exciting and engaging children’s programming to suit all ages.

Our programming is refreshing, upbeat and inspiring. Some of the top-performing individual shows in 2008 included Horrid Henry, with 213,000 kids tuning in, My Parents Are Aliens, with 198,000, and My Goldfish is Evil, with 186,000. Housewives watching with their children also form an important part of the audience, at an average TVR of 0.18.

CiTV reaches 15% of kids every week – that’s more than 1.2m – and 28% every month. It’s the second highest-rating commercial channel for kids and the highest-rating for 4-9 year-olds.

What’s more, it’s available on all digital platforms and is the only dedicated commercial kids station in Freeview homes. Indeed, CIiV averages an 8.8% share of children’s viewing in Freeview-only homes and a TVR of 0.8.

New opportunities in 2009 include a range of stunts, themes and specials; the CiTV website (which has more than 8m monthly page impressions); interactive games; Popcorn (the world’s first cinema site for kids); mobile; and kids’ events.
