Behind the Scenes

Forget Rio and Becks, our ITV Sport team are all fit and ready to go for the World Cup opening ceremony on Friday. These will be some of the most important games they ever put to air. A purpose built studio and state of the art equipment were shipped over to johannesburg weeks in advance and most of the team are there making the final checks after 2 years of preparation.

They are ready to fly out to South Africa tomorrow but managed to get in some last minute training in Austria last week when England played their final warm up match. So how do they bring high quality high definition football to millions of screens across the world? ITV reporter Katy Fawcett joined them for the final warm up game in Austria to find out.
