World Cup on GMTV

GMTV will be waking the nation up to World Cup fever every morning with its extensive coverage of the tournament from South Africa. Broadcasting live from the host nation, Ben Shephard will bring GMTV viewers all the latest news – from both on and off the pitch.

Before the world’s biggest football competition kicks off, model and TV personality Danielle Lineker will be giving us her unique guide to the World Cup. From the squad’s suits to the team’s treatment regime’s, Danielle will be giving us all the insider knowledge on how the team will be preparing for their World Cup glory.

Exploring the possibility of basking in 1966 splendour – Danielle will also be looking at the Capello style of management compared to that of the only man to have ever led England to World Cup success – Sir Alf Ramsey.

Danielle also gives us a sneaky peak into what goes into a footballers suitcase as they prepare for the world’s biggest sporting fixture.

GMTV’s World Cup coverage will kick-off with Danielle’s guide on Monday 31st May.
