12.1m watch Ray Quinn win Dancing On Ice

A huge peak audience of 12.1m viewers watched as Ray Quinn was crowned 2009’s Dancing On Ice champion during last night’s final.
 
An average audience of 10.8m (43.2% share) watched last night’s final show in the series as Ray Quinn and his partner, Maria Filippov, wowed the judges and viewers with their performance of the Bolero to beat Donal MacIntyre and Florentine Houdiniere into second place. Jessica Taylor, alongside partner Pavel Aubrecht, was earlier awarded third place.
 
The entire 2009 series of Dancing On Ice attracted an average audience of 8.8m viewers (35.7% share). Voting levels across the 2009 series were 24% up on last year’s Dancing On Ice.
