The public to decide who returns to The X Factor - voting details confirmed

All profits from this one off phone vote donated to Help For Heroes

The four X Factor contestants who have never faced the public vote after being eliminated by the judges in the first Live Show have the chance to return to the competition this Saturday (12 November) by facing a public vote. With a place in the show up for grabs following Frankie Cocozza’s departure, the public will decide via a phone vote which one will re-join the competition.

The four contestants, one from each category: 2 Shoes (Groups); Amelia Lily (Girls); James Michael (Boys); and Jonjo Kerr (Over 25s) left the competition on the first live show.

The act with the most votes will re-enter The X Factor and perform live on Saturday night's show alongside the six remaining acts left in the competition.

This week's theme is Queen and Lady Gaga so each of the returning acts will prepare a song – but only one will get the chance to perform it on Saturday night’s show which starts at 8.15pm on ITV1.

ITV and producers talkbackThames and Syco have decided that all profits from the phone vote, at least 22 pence per call, will be donated to the charity Help for Heroes.

Elaine Bedell, ITV’s Director of Entertainment said: “In these unprecedented circumstances I’m pleased that we are giving viewers the opportunity to vote for one act to return to Saturday’s show and that all profits from this vote will be donated to Help for Heroes.”

VOTING DETAILS:

0901 616 1301 – 2 SHOES

0901 616 1302 – AMELIA LILY

0901 616 1303 – JAMES MICHAEL

Phone lines open at 4.00pm on Thursday 10th November and will close during Saturday’s The X Factor on ITV1 on 12th November.

Full terms and conditions are available at www.itv.com/terms

Voting costs no more than 36p from BT landlines.  Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more. At least 22p per vote (being all ITV, talkbackThames and Syco profits) will go to the Help for Heroes charity.

Please note that it is not possible to vote via any other method than the one specified here.
