David Suchet celebrates 21 years playing the famous Belgian sleuth as he starts filming The Clocks, the first of four new Poirot films. He returns to his most famous of roles, Hercule Poirot, alongside an exciting cast including Phil Daniels as Inspector Hardcastle, in his first television role since leaving EastEnders.

Lieutenant Colin Race (Burke) is investigating the death of two Navy personnel when a distraught Sheila Webb (Winstone) runs out of 19 Wilbraham Crescent and into his arms. David Suchet says: "After 21 years filming Poirot, I am as excited as ever to be returning to the role and very much looking forward to filming with such a wonderful guest cast."
The Clocks is currently being filmed in London and Dover. It is adapted by Stewart Harcourt and directed by Charles Palmer. The producer is Karen Thrussell.
