ITV1 wins Channel of the Year

ITV won:

Best entertainment prog - The X Factor. TalkbackThames/Syco production for ITV1.

Britain's Got Talent was Highly Commended, TalkbackThames for ITV1

Best children's programme - Bookaboo, Happy Films for CITV

Best drama series or serial - The Street. ITV Studios for BBC1.

Best soap or continuing drama - Coronation Street, ITV Studios for ITV1

And of course, ITV1 was Channel of the Year.

Peter Fincham, ITV Director of Television, Channels and Online, said: "Winning the Broadcast Channel of the Year award is a terrific endorsement for ITV1 as we begin an exciting new chapter for the company.
