Brand of the Year 2011 announced
John Lewis was awarded the Brand of the Year for the second year running.
Over 20,000 votes were received ahead of the Marketing Society's annual dinner on 29th of November where attendees voted the winner from five finalists.
John Lewis' fantastic Christmas ad campaign, "The Long Wait" is currently being shown on ITV and has been a massive hit.
The ad, featuring a little boy desperately counting down the minutes until Christmas, has received huge media coverage and has become a viral hit.
The amazing 18% bonus awarded to every John Lewis staff member was also extraordinary news.
