Backing Business is ITV’s initiative to help keep British business moving, making sure that - whatever the future holds - we’re working alongside you as a partner.

We’re providing support in a number of ways, with a growing bank of digital content in the form of live and on-demand webinars, interviews, opinion pieces and ‘how-to’ guides. We’ll help your planning with resources in the form of qual and quant research, analysis and downloadable assets (such as presentation slides.)

We have many different incentives and rewards to help businesses support their media investment: these can include, subsidised creative production services; strategic insight and campaign analysis; greater flexibility around trading, with improved advance booking terms and more supportive deferment arrangements. 1) Marketing Support: Helping you create healthy and vibrant brands

Our series of live and on-demand Powerbank webinars are here to keep you positively charged, featuring panel discussions and keynote talks from agency partners, advertisers, marketing gurus and our own strategy and planning teams.

Topics will range from what advertisers can learn from the last recession, to how to keep agile thinking long-term. And with 14 sessions already under our belt, you can catch up on subjects including creative effectiveness, the future of branded content, and how to plan for Christmas 2020.

2) Business Focus: Success stories from business leaders

We’ll be discussing best practice across a range of business issues, and share learnings from the strategies working for businesses right now. We’ll hear insight and advice from a diverse network of British business leaders from across the C-suite, as well as ITV’s own CEO, Carolyn McCall and her team.

We’ll also act as an editorial hub, pointing you in the direction of great videos and articles from other media owners and organisations, “The Big 5” consultancies and Government guidance and support. Plus, we’ll be sourcing and a range of valuable B2B services and special offers from partners.

3) Consumer Insight: Keeping you connected to the nation

In a volatile world, it’s crucial we stay connected to consumers. Our series of live webinars will provide you with consumer, cultural and category insights. We'll be exploring topics ranging from consumer confidence and adding value to the future of retail shopping and sustainability. 

On demand sessions include using behavioural science to consider how consumers are responding to Covid, harnessing the power of communities as people renew their local ties, and exploring various post-lockdown consumer scenarios with learnings from countries who have been a number of weeks and months ahead of the UK.

We’ll connect you to what consumers are thinking through the ITV Village, our national panel of over 9,500 people, from which we’ll regularly share insights around behaviours, opinions and expectations. And we’ll also share more national insights from our partnership with YouGov. Additionally you'll have access to LiveWires, ITV’s tool that monitors the macro and micro trends shaping culture.
