Advertising Week Europe 2015 Coming Soon…
ITV is gearing up for a celebration of fantastic advertising and spectacular television at Advertising Week Europe at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly later this month.
We’ve got international rugby superstars tearing down the wing towards the Rugby World Cup, a special live edition of Tom Bradby’s The Agenda tackling the heavyweight political issues, an all-star line-out of creative directors, and advertising legend Dave Trott showing his silky skills in this year’s Spotlight Lecture.
As if that wasn’t enough, our very own Simon Daglish scrums down with the legendary Roger Daltrey for a conversation on The Who at 50 and the Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts at 15.
ITV is the title sponsor for the event for the third year running, and the week kicks off with a fanfare on Monday 23rd March, where we present The Rugby World Cup 2015 on the ITV Stage at the Princess Anne Theatre.
Former England hero Lawrence Dallaglio will join other rugby legends Sean Fitzpatrick, Sir Ian McGeechan and Shane Williams to talk about their hopes for the breathtaking event, which is being hosted across England and Wales this autumn and will be brought to millions by ITV.
Later that night ITV will be hosting the Opening Gala at the historic Guildhall, featuring performances from X Factor superstars Rebecca Ferguson and Fleur East.
On Tuesday March 24 our flagship event is The Agenda with Tom Bradby; ITV’s political editor will be joined by Mariella Frostrup, Tess Alps and others to discuss key issues facing advertising, media and culture.
Lindsey Clay, CEO of Thinkbox, will grill an all-star panel of creative directors on life, the creative universe and everything, on Wednesday March 25, in the ever-popular ITV and Thinkbox present: Creative Carousel. Guests will include Craig Inglis, Marketing Director, John Lewis, Kate Stanners, Executive Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi, Danny Brooke-Taylor, Founding Partner, Lucky Generals, and Caroline Pay, Deputy Executive Creative Director, BBH.
On Wednesday afternoon, rock ‘n’ roll god Roger Daltrey, and Simon Daglish, ITV’s Deputy Managing Director, Commercial, will be chewing the fat at St James’s Church in Piccadilly.
Then on the final day we present The 2015 ITV Spotlight Lecture: Predatory Thinking with Dave Trott,when the ad agency founder and industry guru will share his unique creative insights.
Alongside all this, our digital experts Jon Block and Jia Zhuang will host a hands-on Interactive Ad Lab Workshop, exploring the latest developments at ITV, on Wednesday March 25.
Kelly Williams, ITV’s Managing Director, Commercial, will take part in a Wired Innovation Roundtable on the opening day, and Jason Spencer, ITV’s Business Development Director, will examine Big Data in The New Holy Grail, while on Wednesday Gary Knight, our Commercial Content Director, will discuss Content Branded and Katherine Marlow, our Senior Product Placement and Branded Content Manager, will debate How Brands are Winning with Premium Content.
