It was all glitz and glamour on Thursday evening, as a host of ITV stars joined our colleagues and commercial customers on the red carpet at the London Palladium, for the biggest event in the Commercial calendar - the ITV Gala.
Kicking off in true ITV style, Britain's Got Talent favourites, Old Men Grooving opened the show, before Bradley Walsh took to the stage as our host, introducing our Commercial double act, Kelly Williams and Simon ‘Dags’ Daglish.
With a nod to our 60th birthday celebrations, Kelly and Dags gave three commercial announcements to takeaway:
The launch of our new short-form content business, ITV AdVentures, built to create entertaining and engaging short-form branded content for our partners.
The launch of the ITV Hub, our all-new digital destination, bringing together all our content and channels in one place. Audiences saw Kelly and Dags showcase its features in a live demo.
A partnership with ad platform, RadiumOne, which targets audiences based on their levels of engagement and sharing and viewing behaviours.
Amanda Holden joined Peter Fincham on stage, talking to Peter about upcoming drama, including the hotly anticipated Beowulf, Churchill’s Secret, Victoria, and Maigret. We also announced 90s comedy drama, Cold Feet would be returning to our screens after a 12 year break. From drama to factual, Stephen Mulhern shared clips from Davina McCall: Life at the Extreme and The Miracle with Emma Willis. With Christmas just around the corner, the Gala wouldn’t be complete without a sneak peek of the Downton Abbey Christmas Special.
