Rugby World Cup 2015 Sponsors

ITV today announced that Land Rover and SSE are to be official sponsorship partners of ITV’s coverage of the 2015 Rugby World Cup primarily taking place in England between 18 September and 31 October.

Land Rover, the world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-terrain vehicles, and SSE, which provide energy for over five million homes and business across Great Britain and Ireland, will be the exclusive joint sponsorship partners across all ITV platforms. The fully integrated package includes sponsorship of coverage across ITV’s broadcast, online and mobile platforms including multiple digital executions incorporating integration in the new ITV Rugby World Cup app. 

ITV will broadcast live coverage of every match from the tournament on its channels as well as highlights and clips packages on television, online and mobile. As part of its digital offering, ITV will also launch a brand new dedicated Rugby World Cup app for mobile devices giving fans the opportunity to interact with coverage and keep up to date with the latest team news and results.

The deal was negotiated by ITV Commercial and Mindshare on behalf of Land Rover and OMD on behalf of SSE.

The sponsorship creative for the partners will be handled by Y&R on behalf of Land Rover and Adam and Eve on behalf of SSE.
