April 2026 ITV Debrief

Welcome to this month’s edition of the ITV Debrief which explores the business’ performance across all our linear and addressable channels throughout April 2026.


In terms of reach on the big screen, ITV saw 40.9m adults on average each month of the year so far, cementing ITV’s position as the biggest commercial TV service in the country. ITV’s mass reach offering was also complemented by strong levels of viewing, with ITV averaging 838m monthly adult TV-set viewer hours in April alone!

 

In terms of programming, 67 episodes of ITV shows surpassed the 3m+ average viewers milestone in April. Plus, returning drama Grace proved to be the star performer, with its second episode’s average audience of 5m viewers making it the biggest commercial TV episode of April 2026.
