The 2026 portfolio of 'The Detectives' Drama package unveils an exciting new wave of unmissable commissions, including McKenzie & The Dark. Alongside exciting new titles, beloved dramas such as Trigger Point, Grace, and Van der Valk return for a new series—offering viewers comfort, nostalgia, and above all, a sense of trust, like a warm welcome home.


Sponsorship Package Details

Scheduling (indicative and subject to change)

  • ITV1, ITV1, ITV HD and STV, STV+1 & STV HD

  • 1st January - 31st December 2026

  • Peak Weekday and Weekend

  • An estimated minimum of 66 hours of Detective Drama programming across ITV1 and ITVX


Broadcast & Online

  • 80” of sponsorship accreditation per 60 min episode


On air sponsorship idents:

  • 15” intro ident

  • 10” either side of each centre break

  • 5” closing ident


Online streaming idents

  • 10-second bumpers around free full-length programme content on the ITVX & STV Player websites, mobile apps and connected TVs (excluding Virgin and Sky)


Predicted ITVX impressions: 500 million


Digital

  • 6x ITVX homepage takeover and 2x production

  • Mixed format display ad impressions (MPU & Leaderboard) across itv.com predicted minimum of 3 million impressions

  • 2x ITVX Homepage Sponsored Rails (live for 1x week each)

  • 2x ITVX Homepage Sponsored Tiles (live for 1x week each)

  • 12 months Sponsored Collection in the ‘Drama’ category on ITVX


Licensing

  • Rights to use the ITV ‘The Detectives’ composite logo alongside ‘proud sponsor’ tagline to promote the sponsorship across sponsors owned platforms including:

  • Sponsor’s owned websites, owned social (excluding paid) platforms and apps

  • Trade & consumer press

  • ECRM & direct marketing

  • Competitions targeting consumers, trade and employees

  • All activation and use of assets is subject to ITV approval


Research:

  • A 2x wave sponsorship effectiveness study, carried out by Savanta up to the value of £25,000 net

Guide Price: £6,300,000 Gross + VAT (Excluding production; subject to editorial approval and contractual agreement)
