The Summit
In this new adventure reality series, a group of 14 strangers will meet in the New Zealand wilderness to head out on an epic 100 kilometre journey across a wild, mountainous landscape. Their goal is to climb 8,500ft to the Summit of a distant mountain to win a share of a cash prize of up to £200,000. Along the way, the group will need to work together as a team, as they tackle dangerous terrain and overcome adrenaline-charged challenges that block their path. But not all of them will make it to the top. During their journey, the climbers will be tracked by the Mountain’s Keeper, a menacing presence, who will give them difficult choices to make. And at each Basecamp, the group will have to eliminate someone. This will all have an effect on the prize money pot. Only those who reach the peak, will win an equal share of the money that makes it to the Summit. Proceedings are overseen by host Ben Shephard.
