Boots have long partnered with ITV to help them compete in the cluttered retail category. But over the past 18 months they have moved from media partner to business partner - becoming fully integrated with ITV from a data, content, tech and innovation perspective - and driving growth as a result.

We ran 14 different campaigns with them last year. But, Boots went beyond this with ITV to drive growth in 4 ways:

 

Boots x Love Island

The Love Islanders have never looked so good thanks to Boots, as the official beauty partner.

In 2022, the partnership included Boots products placed in the villa alongside shoppable ads on LG TVs, resulting in a 50% uplift of sales. In 2023 we expanded the product placement even further.

Boots x This Morning

Boots partnered with This Morning on a pioneering campaign about a subject that affects all women but has been a taboo subject for too long - menopause. With a fully branded bus, This Morning and Boots took the message on the road across the nation. We amplified the message with advice on screen, and across our social channels.

Over the past few years, Boots and ITV have continued to build on what was always a strong relationship. ITV's range of new, and innovative offers have meant we've been able to multiply the ways we reach our audience and resulted in fantastic growth for our brand. Boots x Planet V

Boots are a shining example of testing new innovations and have been the first to trial many of our new AdLabs betas including Data Match, Automated Contextual Advertising and weather targeting.

Boots Media Group joined Tesco Dunnhumby as launch partners for ITV’s Matchmaker pilot, enabling brands stocked in Boots to use loyalty card data fused through InfoSum with our own registered audiences on ITVX - enabling brands to measure precise sales uplift among those who’ve seen an ad. This will continue to scale up this year from just brands stocked to any brands wanting to engage with category sales data.
