ITVX Hit the one billion streams mark in just over four months
Just over four months after the service’s launch, ITVX officially hit one billion streams. 2022 was ITV’s previous most successful year for streaming, when it took nearly seven months to hit the one billion streams mark.
ITVX’s Monthly Active Users continue to grow strongly
Since the launch of ITVX, Monthly Active Users continue to grow strongly. We have carried over more monthly active users than ever before. In March, carried over monthly active users from February watched 1:49 hours more than they did the month before.
Love Island has already had 180 million streams in 2023 alone
Earlier this week, with the launch of Love Island series 10, ITVX had 9.1m streams across the whole day which is a year-on-year increase of 109%. Continuing from Series 9 earlier this year, Love Island has already had 180 million streams in 2023 alone.
Over a quarter of ITVX's streaming hours are by 16-34 year-olds
Over a quarter of ITVX's streaming hours are by 16 to 34 year-olds. Alongside Love Island, 16-34s have been catching up on some of the ITV classics that ITVX has to offer.
25% of Broadchurch's streaming hours are from 16–34-year-olds, as well as 35% of Bad Girls' and 37% of Footballers Wives'.
American boxsets have also proved popular, with 47% of The O.C.'s streaming hours from 16-34s, 52% of The Vampire Diaries' and 59% of One Tree Hill's.
ITVX is now available on over 22 platforms
ITVX is now available on over 22 different platforms across smart TVs, mobile devices, consoles and browsers including (but not limited to) Amazon Fire, Android, Apple, Freesat, Freeview Play, LG and Samsung TVs, Sky and Virgin Media, plus the launch of ITVX on Sky Q boxes - a new platform for ITV.
Most recently, live channels are now available within ITVX on LG devices via Freeview Play, bringing live ITV content to even more viewers.

We have filled ITVX with 20 thousand hours of commissioned and acquired UK and US series, single episode shows and films across all genres.
Our viewers are loving the range and choice on offer. Pre-ITVX, only 20% of viewing was not driven by scheduled/linear TV - it’s already gone up to 36%.
What's more, awareness of ITVX in April was 85% amongst all adults and 90% amongst our target lighter viewers.

Lighter viewers' streaming hours for January - April are up +141% year-on-year, going from 61 million hours in the first four months of last year to 146 million this year
