ITV Backing Business - Consumer confidence: from glass half empty to half full

The lockdown has had a significant impact on consumer confidence, but there are signals that some normality is returning. What can brands do to help consumers see that the glass is half full?
The conversation is kickstarted by an analysis of current consumer needs, trends and expectations, underpinned with insight from our ITV Village. We then focused on key learnings from GfK’s long-running consumer confidence survey, exploring purchasing habits and savings and how consumers are feeling about their personal financial situation. And as if all that wasn’t enough, we also looked back to the 2008 recession to try to predict future recovery.
