It’s time to re-enter the Big Brother house, as the mother of all reality shows returns to British screens. It’s the show that launched them all, and a genuine cultural phenomenon.
Big Brother has found a brand new home on ITV2 and ITVX in Q4. We’re going back to the original formula with the addition of a few modern twists to make it the most talked about show this autumn and the perfect run up to Christmas.
Launching in October and hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, there’ll be 36 episodes in total, running six nights a week.
There will be different ways to watch:
ITV2 and ITVX will broadcast the show Sunday to Friday from 21:00 till 22:00
It’s got a sibling show, running straight after the main show at 22:00 also presented by AJ and Will as they review the evening’s show with an excited live audience of Big Brother fans
It’s a fantastic show for viewers, and we have an amazing opportunity for advertisers too!
Converged VOD and linear packages
Following the huge success of our Love Island convergent packages this year, we’re excited to bring to market our final convergent package trial of 2023. The opportunity will be for 40 Big Brother packages, combining both linear and VOD inventory in a single transaction. But that’s not all, our convergent package opportunity just got even bigger, as we are now offering an optional extension across ITV’s Big Brother content on YouTube!
The packages will only be available through Planet V.
Here’s how it works:
Each package will combine spot and VOD inventory into a single campaign, with delivery aligned to how Big Brother is viewed by its audience (which is estimated at around 55% linear / 45% VOD)
In addition, we’re also offering access to YouTube inventory in and around ITV’s Big Brother content as an optional element to extend the packages, subject to availability.
The test packages and any optional YouTube extensions will deliver Big Brother viewer impacts and impressions at an incentivised single fixed cost per thousand of £15 across all platforms
The 40 packages will only be available on Planet V on a first come first served basis. They’ll become available on the platform from 10:00 on 1st August until 17:00 on 10th August. When they're gone, they're gone!
For this test phase, packages will be limited to 30” copy only across ITV platforms, and 6” pre-roll copy on YouTube.
