We aimed to uncover new insights into who mums really are, what they do, what they want and how you can influence them. Working closely with some of the leading industry experts, here is what we learnt:

Richard Cope, Senior Trends Consultant at Mintel, showed how mums are the key decision makers on more than you might think in the household.
Lauren Caruana, Senior Product Manager at Dunnhumby, discussed the implications for marketers of mums being increasingly connected.
Carrie Longton, Founder of Mumsnet, showed how to influence mums through understanding more about their emotional need states.
Jane Beacon, Commissioning Editor of ITV Daytime, and Reemah Sakaan, ITV’s Director of Network Marketing and Planning, shared how ITV thinks about mums from a commissioning, editorial and marketing perspective.
